The Summer residence’s history have started since 1823 where sheikhs of the woolen trades and their followers at Damietta were walking by all their members toward the north by the Nile to celebrate with El_Sheikh El_Girby’s Birth region, South of Ras Elbar. And all Merchants (Traders) were bestowaling to Ras Elbar for meeting their ships that were coming out of their journeys, And here they witnessed the early summer residence which was represented on those woolen ones and all continued on living at this beautiful calm place which emanate the self by the Alarmness of meditation and the devotion secure, Also some families have used to go out at summer days by the sailing ship along the Nile and landing (Mooring) in front of Ras Elbar spending the day at the pleasure trips (Excursion), hunting and sports .

     At 1865 Ras Elbar was taken to be a summer residence and it has been graduated from little separated huts built up from Elbardy’s straw mat to organized lines between the Nile and the Sea, Then to huts to be setting on a highly land of wood and building.

• At 1883 the Germany scientist Koukh has gone to Ras Elbar, Settled down a report which includes that (Ras Elbar’s summer residence once could be the king of all the Residences and the famous one ,as it is specialized by its beautiful spot , dry fresh air and its farawayness from noises , the less in humidity than the Egyptian shores, Where the air is in rich of ( El-Youd )
• At 1891 a French man called ( Buclan ) and a French woman called ( Kortil ) have established a bar and restaurant beside El-Sheik Youssef fortress , also they have established the first standard  hotel in front of the light house , Middle of the residence which attracts highly peoples . The event that helps much others to establish many other hotels.
• At 1902, the first geometrical map was setup for the summer residence, Clarifying huts regions, its numbers, markets and others decided to be rented lightening ways by lanterns, driven Nile ships to transport people posting from Damietta to Ras El_Bar and visaverse.
• Ras El_Bar’s summer residence was a temporatory season no longer than the four summer months, When summer comes almost tow weeks to establish its buildings so as to be a small city with all the benefits of other big cities as the summer's days gone, all features gone too and became again an empty place full of sands which can be exposed to the Ebb of the sea, So as to be exceeded by the waves covering, washing and   preparing it to receive a newly clean and pure summer residence being dry by sun rays.
